Action Relay

The NewBridge project are working with Wunderbar to create Action Relay, a seven week live exhibition – an energetic, immediate and DIY approach to creating performance that invites seven artists to spend a week each in the gallery, building new work from the remains of the previous week and opening to the public for a one-off evening event.

Action Relay launches during Wunderbar with virtuoso pianist Andy Ingamells and his performance Piano Recital. Watch, listen, keep your distance, as he battles with himself, his piano, and collaborator Jessica Cooper, playing as best he can as the music stutters to its sticky conclusion...

Following the performance, the resulting mess installation will be left in the gallery for the duration of Wunderbar. Then Andy will pass the baton on to the next artist. Watch this space.
